I am neither a Shia nor a Sunni. So How can I start Shia-Sunni fight unless BOTH of them want to?

Well, we Mainstream Muslims, have the ** biographies of 100,000 narrators **, do the Shias have such a collection of biographies?
For the Shias, a lot of their hadeeths spread in oral form for a long long time before being written down, and there books were meant only for the Shias. They were not open for the Sunnis to read or study them.
Many of the Shia hadeeths do not even go back to the Holy Prophet (S), instead they quote from their Imams.
And, then there's this narrator of Shia hadeeths, (whom the ** Shia scholars accept *), about whom Imam Ja'far as-sadiq (the 6th Shia Imam ) said he's a liar (can't rmbr the exact words) - and this was narrated by * another shia reporter. **
Now the Shia scholars try to explain this by saying it was ** taqiya ** !!!! Now, whom should you believe ???
Had a Sunni reporter been accused of lying by the one from whom he was reporting, I'm sure they wouldn't have tried to justify it by saying it was taqiya !
So, Gandalf, be careful what you say. Looking at your posts, there does exist this possibility that you yourself might be practising taqiya. But since I don't have any proof, I wouldn't accuse you of that.

And Sita is painted as a flirt. This is typical of Rushdie. He turns gods into devils and devils into saints! And the Swiney confesses that the likes of him “WILL BE BROKEN TO BITS!” - “GUY SEEMS HELL-BENT ON A SUICIDE COURSE.” TSV page 538. He has uttered here words of wisdom, but alas, he has learnt nothing from them himself.

Not that I agree with what Rushdie has done by the way.
The fact is if he trashes Jesus Christ or Lord Rama the same way, he won’t be getting as much attention.
Rushdie is around long enough to figure out attention translates to dollars.
That brings me to the second point.
2.The whole World including HIndus can trash Hinduism and Hindu Gods as much as they want but HInduism and Hindu Gods remain the same.
They have been there before uncouth Camel Riding Arab Nomads found a Prophet and a Religion and before unwashed Europeans came to India and found out there is such a thing as taking a bath

By the way, if insulting Prophet Mohammed is enough for devout Muslims to kill Salamn Rushdie, insulting Hinduism and burning Hindus is reason enough for Hindus to kill Muslims in turn.
So if you accept one, you have no right to whine about the other!!
