well quite a different perception but i read in an urdu novel and i quote it here...!!

" Ishq....jo sub se pehle Rab'e'Wahid se sarzad hoa....IS ne apne aap ko dekha aur apne aap per aashiq hogaya...apne noor se zyada isse koi shae haseen kese lag sakti he...tub IS ne kaha...
