Re: Why Allah chose Mecca for Last prophet.
**because, as i see it, Arabic language is the strongest language gramatically and at the time arabic literature was at the top, known for poetry. Qur’aan is the best literature as well…there is a chapter in Qur’aan called sho’aaraa…Allah challenged human kind and the jins to bring forward 3 verses like Qur’aan…no one has yet came clsoe to meeting the challenge and its considered a miracle of Qur’aan.
Also, middle east happens to be in the middle of all the known worlds. all trade routes conveged there.
one more reason, all the previous prophets were born and did their prophetic work in that region so people knew about all the prophetic stories and there were followers of those prophets like Jesus and Moses.
i believe, Allah had promised Abraham [a.s.] that HE will raise prophets from among his children. up and until MoHammad [saws], all the prophets that came to this world were Hazrat IsHaq’s [a.s.] children while Hazrat Ismaa’eel’s [a.s.] side there were none. so, Allah gave the Last Messenger, MoHammad [saws] thru Ismaa’eel [a.s.] thus fulfilling HIS obligations to raise prophets from Abraham’s [a.s.] children.
i think these reasons are enuf for now.**
Good Answer, so the last prophet was from Bano Ismail, that was the main point of contradiction for the jews of arab, they were supposing that, since all the prophets are coming in bano ishaq, so the last one will also be.
this is only one reason, there could be bunches of reasons for prophet (S.A.W) being in Arab.
(Makkah is also being declared the center of earth ::not so sure about it)
