"zinda" was almost a scene to scene copy of the old korean movie "oldboy" and I was wishing so badly that sanjay gupta would've given the korean director some credit. He acted like it was all his own work.
What was the name of nana patekar's movie?
Re: Who's your fav bollywood director? ]]]
I wud say Sanjay Leela Bhansali, He has the most creative mind in bollywood
Re: Who’s your fav bollywood director? ]]]
Gulzar: the director who gave us superb flicks like Mausam, Koshish, Angoor, Aandhi, Ijaazat, Lekin, Machis etc.
He’s a fabulous director on top of being a marvellous lyricist :k: :k:

Watch it when you go to India next time. Actually I did buy the vcd for that movie. But I do not want to go through the trouble of uploading it on the web. I am a lazy guy, hope you understand :).

Holy God I didn't mean that I wanted you to upload it for me :CareBear:.
Re: Who's your fav bollywood director? ]]]
hahaha, I know and I did not take it that way :), all I was saying was that if it was easy I would have uploaded it for others to watch as it's a movie worth watching. Enough, anyways good morning.

Have any of you watched any old bimal roy or Hrishikesh Mukherjee movies?
Bimal roy's "Madhumati" would have to be the scariest hindi movie i've seen and the fact that it was B/W made it seem even scarier.
and what ever happened to the director who made "jo jeeta wohi sikander" which was a great movie during its time? I wish he had made more movies.
Re: Who's your fav bollywood director? ]]]
rakesh roshan, karan johar, sanjay leela bhansali, suraj barjatya, gulzar...sometimes yash chopra films too

It still is a great movie and imo it has the best song and the best video of all the indian movies. After more than 15 years, pehla nasha pehla khumaar gives me the same feeling it used to give back then.
By the way, Mansoor Khan was the director and he directed QSQT and AHAT as well.

**Prahaar! it was a flop.
btw Nana Patekar is my fav actor and Parinda is one of my all time fav movie.**
Re: Who’s your fav bollywood director? ]]]
**Muqaddar ka sikander is a classic :k: it was directed by Prakash Mehra, the same Prakash Mehra who made classics like Zanjeer, Laawaris, Namak Halaal, Sharaabi.
Bimal roy was a legend, i loved his Devdas and Do Bigha Zameen.**
