i hated titanic. but fine, one more. Shania Twain, Bret Hart, Colonel Tigh, McLuhan and James Cameron. All relatively modern I notice, and no literary figures.

JK j/k you know. on a serious note it does seem that canada's intellectual development came relatively late compared to its southern neighbour. Why is that?

^ cuz we were declared a country about a 100 years after our neighbors - before 1867, there was no Canada - k... enough history for one night :D

Thanks to Lake Ontario that separates Canada from USA all the way from west to east coast and allowing Canadians to build another country and importing all kind and color of immigrants :cb:!

Don't know much about that.

But we have extremely solid educational structure.
Its doing a wonderful job.. as a proof I present my brother LC :D
I mean Canada must be doing some thing right:D

One thing I hate is... every Canadian thing and exceptional Canadian person has to get approval from amreeka before get recognition at home. I think its side effects of living in the shadow of a giant.
