really, why would you bother worrying about what people at RAND categorize us as.
don't we know, who we are.
they will address, label and promote attributes that they have in their minds.
prior knowledge and their own influences in their lives, will dispose them to a level of biased opinion, even as researchers, that, will only allow them to persist in labeling Muslims as such and not truly make an attempt to understand us as who we are.
so, my advice.
sure, do 'read' rand, & read between the lines as well, please but don't become its convenient tool or subject.
