A Farm of sheep is called a sheep farm.
A nation filled with sheep is called sheep nation.
Pakistan is filled with sheeps, who at the end of the day, do not care about:
their country
who they elect
what their elected leaders do
what do these elected leaders accomplish while serving their term
All these people, like sheep, care about is getting Roti, Kapra, Makan and involve themselves in some extracurricular activities, which I will not mention here.
The problem here is not leaders, the problem is the people who elect those leaders. The dumb masses who time and again have elected KNOWN corrupt leaders that have done nothing for Pakistan but dig a deep hole for future governments to fill.
Even today, we were amazed to see how thousands cheered and celebrated the return of two of the most corrupt leaders that Pakistan had in the late 80s and 90s. And most disappointment was in current government for allowing these known criminals back into the country and allowing them to run for PM office!!! These people have made pakistan a laughing stock for centuries to come. They have made Pakistan a corruption friendly country, how about that? What message did we send to our new generation of students and up coming leaders?
You can rob people, the country, be expelled from the state, have hundreds of corruption charges and pending cases against you and you can still come back to Pakistan and run for an office. Instead of making example out of these thugs, we turned them into heroes. How pathetic.
Remember, the farmer will not do anything to change lives of the sheep. The sheep must do what they must in order to change their environment. The ignorant masses claim that if they bring in certain leader, he will solve all of their problems, no he won't. He cannot. That is wishful thinking. That is stupidity. That is like sheep. You will solve your own problem, provided that you are given the resources required to pursue your goals.
The other problem is the media (in general, state and private). Just tell me, what is the point of playing same song video hundreds of times a day when you can educate the public with some education programs while limiting the amount of time spent on playing the damn music videos?
They think by having talk shows for 25 minutes while rest of the hour is spent in advertisement that they are doing us, the nation and the sheep, a favor.
And then we have the religious...
All I have to say about these is that problems with them were predicted 1400 years ago and only fix is the passage of time.
