Market back to 2062.

If it goes up tomorrow might rebalance. No idea what it would do. But if it gives a Chan e to rebalance I take it. Not too concerned. Have done rebalancing already.

Market at 2100. Took some off at 2099 2 days ago. Some more today. Glad to accept the gift. Rebalancing doesn’t hurt. Though what I have done is more than that. Stock allocation at abt 60 pct. Cash or cash equivalent 40 pct.

Originally was at around 80 stocks 20 cash.

Clearly conventional wisdom to just rebalance. I am not recommending what I did to others. Time will tell.

IMO mkt is getting frothy.

After 3 weeks of losses the US Market roared back today, much like a Misbah counter attack. The Snp500 closed at 2081, about 1.7 pct Below the all time high of 2015 appprox.

Took the opportunity to lighten up a bit. Rebalancing never hurt nobody.

On Wednesday Mkt closed 2100. Did same..sold a bit.

On Friday Mkt closed 2108. Did same.

Stocks I think now at 58 pct. Cash 42 pct.

Mrk went down to 2102 Wednesday and jilumper to 2124 Thursday. Took some more off.

As mkt went past 2020 started to decrease stock allocation all the way to 2115. With mkt now at 1942 that appears to have paid off.
