Typical of our people, getting overtly emotional and sentimental about everything, let’s not wish for impractical things.

Burying your head in the sand wont help a thing, Persian was preffered in our regions even when Pashtun kings reigned, they used it in court and amongst themselves to differentiate themselves as royalty, the poets of Afghanistan preffered Persian, Pashto poetry doesn’t even come close to Persian poetry.

Persian has always been above Pashto, Persian has always been the language of the elite, of learning, of culture and tradition in Afghanistan, it was highly developed even when Pashtuns were all busy fighting amongst themselves and grazing sheep in the mountains.

FYI yes I am a Pakistani and very proud, I have distant relatives in Afghanistan but most of them live in Pakistan and my parents were born and grew up in Pakistan so Pakistan is our identity and we speak Urdu more often than we do Persian (language is only a means of communication, in Afghanistan Dari, in Pakistan Urdu, in England English), my family has served in the PAF and have shed their blood for Pakistan so the country is very close to my heart.

So you’re a paki trying to link himself with Afghanistan and persian culture and people..man If I had a dime for everytime I heard that..

by the way i have a older sister who is blond..when she was younger she looked exactly like a gora child… and believe me im not exagerating, now her hair is more like dark blonde, but my other sis and i are pure desi looking…my mom and dad are both desi so go figure that one out.

I think the look of fair Pakistanis/South Asians that many people prefer is very different from a gora skin tone and I don't think that as many people are attracted to that. As someone said before, it's more about people wanting to be different/unusual than anything else. And as Saima said, the tanned look is a fairly recent phenomenon/status symbol within white communities.

i am a pakistani punjabi and am proud of it i am not afghan nor am i persian and i do not claim it but problem start when you gay afghan or persian say we are so white as european and pakistanis are drividian,you people live in asia and you claim to be same as european what a joke you people are , atleast we pakistanis don,t start with this skin color **** it is always some afghan or some persian who come up with pakistanis are drividian if we are then show some studie which says we are drividian till then you better watch your mouth .

To have a fair colour is in our culture a big point i think, well its nice to see that most pakistani ppl are fair, so ppl wont confuse or hesitate where u are from, caus the ppl of here always think i am arabic or turkish or irani or something in that place , caus i am fair , and when i tell them I am pakistani, they say Oh but i thougt pakistani are dark, then i tell them NO pakistani are fair, i think u are confused with Indians ,
but not all indians are dark, the sikh indians here are quite fair ..

But its not all about fair colour, i saw many pakistani ppl who are a bit wheatish/dark skinned, they have their own attraction..

there are pakistanis who have dark skin so what who cares they are a miniorty and we are muslims we shouldn,t disciriminate they are our brothers and sisters i am sick of these afghan and persian trying relate us with india just coz we have a miniorty who are racially same as them.only 66% of afghan papulation is Caucasoids while more % of pakistanis are Caucasoids these gays should first turn their blackhole in a Caucasoids nation and after that they should come here and tell us who we are.

btw: sikh are just 2 % of indian papulation,we share something with them but rest of india is alien country to most pakistanis.

weet je ik ben lid op een afghaanse forum, ik neem niet deel aan de ''debat''daar omdat die mensen zijn meer recistisch dan zelf europeanen terwijl ze weten that meer % van pakistanan lichte huid heeft dan afghanan......huid kleur moet hen niet naar hoofd stijgen ze moeten proberen vaker te douchen want veel mensen klagen that ze stinken and dat zij alleen een paar keer een kouwe douche nemen in het jaar.........we zullen dat erg op prijs stellen.

^ :p Daar weet k allemaal niet van, en intresseert me ook niet hoevaak ze douchen, over racistisch gesproken dat is wel waar, maar dat is onze geweldige buurland India ook, zelfs die indians van hier ; ze denken dat ze in india zijn en vechten voor kashmir ofzo, hoe ik het zie meeste indians kijken vies naar pakistanen, maar dat is misschien hoe ik het zie, ze zijn het niet allemaal, er zitten nog wel normale tussen , maar over afghanen gesproken afghanen horen niet te discrimineren want er wonen genoeg afghanen in pakistan .. k ken eerlijk gezegd bijna geen afghanen, dus weet ook niet hoe ze zijn.. maar heb nix tegen afghanen of indians, want niet iedereen is hetzelfde

^ik wist het ook niet,ik ben heel religous opgevoed en my ouders hebben me geleerd muslims zijn broeder en zusters en that we niet mogen discrimineren,zo ik had een idee van alle muslims zullen ook zelfde denkbeelden hebben als ik......... maar ik was naive en dom toen ik zag hoe mijn zogenaamd broeders dachten over my land genoten en hoe ze pakistanis noemden ik heb mijn mening bij gesteld.niet dat ik niet meer geloof in broederschap maar dat als een muslim mijn land and mijn landgenoten beledigt ik zal zeflde bij hen doen,i mean if someone spit on my people i will spit back on them muslim or not there is no love lost between us.

^ Mijn ouders hebben me hetzelfde geleerd, maar er zijn zoveel mensen die over ons dom denken, wie kun je allemaal haten ? wie weet ga je heel goed met iemand om, en van binnen haat diegene je land gewoon, hoe moet je dat weten van iemand ..??.. , Ik hou dr ook niet van als iemand mijn landgenote of mijn land komt uitschelden voor iets of domme dingen over zegt, maar het beste is zulke mensen gewoon geen aandacht geven,dat is eigenlijk wat ze zoeken,.. met vechten kom je nooit op een oplossing uit, die mensen moet je gewoon laten herinneren aan hun eigen land en landgenoten,,
ik vind zulke mensen gewoon egt belachelijk, die gewoon je zwakke punt pakken, je geloof of over je cultuur gaan staan afkraken, terwijl ze nooit goed in de spiegel hebben gekeken wat ze zelf zijn, of waar ze zelf vandaan komen

most pakistanis are not fair thats a bogus claim, most pakistanis are wheatish,just look around you.lets do a survey, how many in the cricket team are fair?afridi,younis khan thats it,thats 2 out of 11 which is not a majority.
in pakistan if a girl is wheatish she would say that shes fair i donno whats wrong with being wheatish.
