Does it have any fragrance once applied? I like Clinique products because they don’t smell of anything. They’re just clear.

Ugh I don't like hope in a jar. I bought it in the hopes that it would be a good moisturizer based on it getting a lot of good reviews.
- It has an awful smell like it's got some mechanical chemicals in there
- It's greasy
Also after using shiseido I can't seem to like anything else. The only other moisturizer I would recommend is L'occitane's Imortelle. It's made with Imortelle which is a flower from the Mediterranean known for it's long life. The moisturizer has a very very light sweet fragrance, is not greasy, but pretty moisturizing. It's targeted more for women 30 and above who are beginning to get wrinkles.
I love it..perhaps my skin isn't really oily and that's why it doesn't make my skin oily at all.. really moisturizes it and feels nice!

thanks for the suggestions, I might try and go shopping this weekend to try clinique and lancome products.
I have another quick Q, don’t think its worth opening another thread. I also need some sun protection, perhaps something I can apply after moisturiser. Has anyone tried this Clinique product? Its oil free and suitable for sensitive skin and SPF15 is enough for desi skin no?

Yeh I agree it does indeed moiturize.
There’s another thread open on sunscreens you will be able to get a lot of input on sunscreens there. I haven’t tried the one u mentioned but ur daily moisturizer should have atleast spf15 as long as u t stepping out of ur home. Other than that if u r at the beach u need something much stronger, I use a sunscreen for the face by shiseido that’s SPF55 and another one for the rest of the body that’s spf80.

If u r inquiring about sunscreen specifically than spf15 is not enough. But it is fine if it's a regular moisturizer.
I have been using organic jojoba oil as a face and body moisturizer and am in awe of this wonderful product. My skin has never felt and looked so amazingly supple, smooth, clear and bright ALLHUMDULILLAH and trust me, my skin was in MISERABLE condition with severe acne, leathery texture and dull complexion. Have used all kinds of high-end moisturizers to drugstore brands to salon products only to find them either too greasy and NOT AT ALL moisturizing or too drying leaving the skin flaky and sort of scaly.
This is one product I'm going to stick to. Also, I've realized that the more natural products you use, the better it is for the skin and hair.
I'll second the jojoba oil. I've tried all kinds of moisturisers - from md formulations to clinique to bliss, (to name but a few!!) but this is simply the best. Well worth the money, dosent block ur pores, non greasy, improves skin texture, no chemicals... the list is endless. Dont be fooled into thinking that its an oil so its gona make ur face look like a chip pan! Though its an oil it surprisingly leaves a lovely, non greasy feel on ur skin.

i have been have using dermalogica products for some time now, it's excellent.
The moisturisers by Origins are lovely and are plant based too, and so better for the skin...

This very recent and extremely cheap discovery I've made is the St.Ives ' collagen elastin' facial moisturizer. My skin is perfectly moisturized, no greasiness, feels good all day, stay soft.. the list is endless. I can't believe I got it at walmart for $4!!! Previously was using a 'pore minimizer' moisturizer from caryl baker (local company). The only other pricey one I've tried is hope in a jar.. didn't like it at all. It would just disappear on my skin and the smell drove me crazy..

You apply raw jojoba oil? How much of an amount do you use? Just like a regular moisturizer?

Yeah I apply raw jojoba oil. I use a few drops - more at night, and use it just as I would a normal moisturiser.

Though the oil I buy is from a local herbalist but I'm sure its not that hard to find elsewhere.

If you have combination/oily skin use Nivea Young Control Shine Mattifying cream. It's works like magic.

my skin is the same. i tried a load of moisturiser’s (high end, low end, ‘natural’) before falling in love with Olay Regenerist Rehydrating Lotion.. been using it for 3 years now.
it’s quickly absorbed and non-greasy but strong enough to moisurise the dry skin on the cheeks and stuff. has SPF 15 too.
if my cheeks are really dry though, i’ll usually just put a little aloe vera gel on the dry area.
