I stumbled upon GS while trying to get information about Pakistani associations in Toronto.
At the time, it was just a handful of ppl here. Azkar, Muzna, X2 and hardly another 10 - 15 other active members - and look where we are today.
Muzna was the first person I talked to on GS and also the first person I met offline... although it wasn't Muzna who I met afterall initially. That's a story for another day though.

I was searching for Pakistani Govt website when I came across The Official Pakistani Page ‘TOPP’.
I clicked and it was GS. I honestly thought that this forum is put together by or supported/sponsored by the pak govt 
But in those day, filtering and moderation was really not at this level and someone posted some porn. I got angry at the owners of the website and posted a long speech about how dare you call yourself Official Pakistani Page and badnaam karo Pakistan by having porn on your website.
To make my point, I wrote the whole speech in Caps. Muzna came back to that thread and said, and I quote “Stop Screaming”
I had a great fight with Muzna in that thread.
Then somehow we became friend, so much that when I visited Toronto after few month with my wife and brother, Muzna invited us to her home

I think it was Ehsan bhai's thread "Watch Out" in bizness section that really hooked me on here.

Muzna's the peg that provided bearing to guppies back then and her personal touch mobilized the membership. Otherwise, we might have been just another BB.

True Story. I was reading Dale Carnegie’s ‘How to win friends and influence people’ and after the fight with Muzna, I decided to apply all I learned from the book on her. Add it worked 
Lucid, I agree with you on that. Muzna did bring a personal touch to this website that helped many guppies to stay and many like myself come back after the absence of several years

It was Akif.And the thread was some hot debated in the religion forum.But I never really took to posting regularly. Though, I visit GS quite frequently.
