think Esix is talking about those intrusive desktop gadgets in Vista / Windows 7 (does it have'em ?).
I don't like them at all, so I don't have any.
On the other hand, I have multiple gadgets on my iGoogle homepage which I use every now and then - things like sticky notes, local weather, RSS reader etc.
