which do u value more?

Re: which do u value more?

Friendship! Definately.

Romance dies out ... and usually is with one person

Re: which do u value more?

I met a girl few years back whom I hated in the beginning but became friends with afterwards and then we became best friends so much so that we were spending almost all our time together. We ended up in a relationship without even knowing that we were in a relationship. We never had any problems like we never fought. I knew what she likes or wants and vice versa. So we did everything for each other. It was perfect. It just worked :)

She finished Uni and moved to LA since it was her life long dream to be a script writer for the big screen movies in hollywood. We said good bye to each other on a good note. I didn't went out with anyone for months but when I finally did went out with someone, it was romantically; one of those love at first site things. We were never friends. We never became best friends. There were so many trust issues. She use to hide stuff from me thinking that I wouldn't like it but she never understood that its better if she tells me herself then I find out or someone else tells me. Bottom line, it was a horror to live in and it was over as quickly as it started.

I have been in a few relationships and I can say with confidence that if you can't be best friends with your partner, its really not worth it. You shouldn't waste your or his/her life in a relationship thats not going to satisfy anyone. Might as well stay single for the rest of your life.

Good for you ... Unfortunately Desi families generally don't allow to be this close before marrige :)

this is the way i feel now..but b4 i used to think like all naive females..nothing beats romance..what a crock that is..

navaidshere..i agree with u but..not the last line really..it would be sort of sensless and hard to do that..especially for a desi women

First you become friends & then fall in Love! what happens after Love is a different story!
