Here we have some masjids following Saudi and others going by the moon sighting. They're celebrating Eid on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. My masjid is in the latter group.

There's a split in the UK. Some people are celebrating on Tuesday, others on Wednesday. I'm celebrating on Wednesday because we're going with the sighting of the moon.

And I think that if there is a confusion between Tues and Wed, is not it better to go with Wed cause even if the real eid is on Tues, Wed is safer as it would become the second day of eid so Qurbani and Namaz would be ok, but if real eid is on Wed, you cannot celebrate it in advance

Hilal committee in Toronto (GTA) has announced it on Wednesday but some masjids are celebrating it on Tuesday 
nevertheless, it’s Tuesday for me, which it tomorrow.. YAYYYY .. :shoaby: can’t wait to dress up..

TLK that is an interesting way to put things...But if our mosque announces it to be on tuesday and that's when the namaz is..we have no other choice...i think its safe to go by the mosque.

The nearest mosque to me (100 yards away) on Wednesday but others today.
