Etihad is not from Emirates Airline but its competitor from Abu Dhabi! Emirates originates from Dubai. both different states of UAE.

British airways has lost my luggage on 3 consecutive travels. However, their inflight service was good.

The best at the moment: Singapore Air followed by Emirates.

Thai i found the worst.
Malayasian is good, not too expensive, emirates luxurious and make you wanna travel longer.

etihad is based in Abu Dhabi not in dubai....
and it makes stops at abu dhabi, which is quite some distance from dubai, relatively speaking anyway....

I flew on etihad airline from Toronto>Brussels>Abu Dhabi>Karachi. Overall, their service is fine.

I will post a more detail message in a week or so.

Eithad air like stops a lot..andif u have kids...not a good one...BTW personally I loved Emirates...best to travel with kids too or alone..compared to that ...British of American airlines seem like buses:D

the time I start the thread I was planning and now I have traveLLED Etihad...i would say they are preety good....Flight attendents were Really nice.......(i guess not always)...more leg space than PIA or Golf...good food (paki, indian,vege etc etc) , great choice of paki dramas, indian movies, english, cartoons, disney movies, u can listen to the quran, etc etc.....

I had good experience...It's a long trip from the US to AbuDubai so take your earplugs with you....they one they give, i didnt' like em...:) If you have young kids. definately take earplugs during takeoff!!!!

Yeah, my family recently travelled to Pakistan with them and they offered them a five star hotel in Abu Dhabi, because they had a long layover - AND they also paid for the food at the hotel restaurant!! Airlines tend to be more accomodating if you are only one parent travelling with kids.

Canada Airlines is THE WORSE! (service, planes, ammenities, dinner, age of hostess ... )

PIA biggest pro is that they speak urdu and food is somewhat catered for Pakis (new airline direct from TO to Pak is an incentive as well)

Eithad has OLD planes but service and all other factors are generally quite good

Emirates is THE BEST period! (every seat has its own screen and it WORKs! 100+ channels of everykind! amamzing amazing food ... polite hosts). slightly expensive but way worth it for long travel.

I have been most impressed by Qatar. The way they helped looked after my disabled mother-in-law during the flight is worthy of highest praise.

Emirates is one of the best, do you need a direct flight ?? British airways or PIA wil be good If not then Emirates LHR>>>DUBAI>>> LONDON
