I was in high school (Canada) at that time. It was the first class. I still remember exactly our class was about to start at 9am so we were making way to the class. It must have been just before the second tower was hit. Someone came running to the class saying New York is under attack. We turned on our class TV. And watched the horror. Everyone was just shocked. I still remember when the class was finished and I was making my way to the my next class, one of my Jewish teacher, who was very nice, she was crying and she stared me down as I made my way down as if she is accusing me. I remember one of our relatives who was stuck in Manhattan at that time, saying to my that let’s pray it’s not any Muslim.

We did experience some discrimination, no one said anything directly to me but the way they looked with disgust, it was very hurtful.

i was in 9th grade probably…or may be it was 8th? or was it 10th?

I was watching tv late at night…and the news started coming in… i was like damn…thats some serious shizzle out there… there was a slight feeling of amusement too…like someone did stick it to them finally… anyways… i was sort a neutral after that… but i knew they were going to start bombing some country very soon…
