where is zardari?

Re: where is zardari?

well..asif was not the only one corrupt.

does she really expect people to believe that she was the corrupt one and she had nothing to do with it?

even if we buy that lame argument, if she does nto know what the hell is going on in her own home, how do u expect her to run a country.

Some bank accounts of BB defreezed

OUR STAFF REPORTER
ISLAMABAD - Paving the way for Musharraf-Benazir deal, the government has de-frozen some of the bank accounts of PPP Chairperson Benazir Bhutto, officials here said on Monday.
“The decision to restore some bank accounts of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was made 15 days ago to show that the government was sincere in talks with PPP and it resulted in the Musharraf-Benazir meeting recently in UAE capital,” said an official here requesting anonymity. He said that not all banks accounts of Benazir Bhutto, which were frozen few years ago after the charges of corruption were leveled against her, had been restored and they would be de-frozen only after the final deal between President Musharraf and the ex-prime minister. The NAB officials when contacted declined to comment on the important issue.
Meanwhile, the sources in the President House also confirmed the recent meeting between General Pervez Musharraf and Benazir Bhutto.
The Presidential spokesman, however, once again refused to confirm or deny the meeting and restrained himself to saying that indirect contacts had been made with PPP and other parties during which important issues like anti-terrorism efforts and holding of free, fair and impartial polls had been discussed.
He, nonetheless, refuted as baseless the impression of government’s endeavors for contacts with PML leadership for a meeting of Mian Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif with President Pervez Musharraf.

Re: where is zardari?

According to me, it is not a women job niether they have tendency to run the country, should she be not the daughter of ZAB, can she dare to stand for Premiership of a province? or how many women candidate in our country gets nominated for this post?

BB's politics revolves around twe men, ZAB's death has given birth to her political career and Zardari's life is giving life-threatening shocks to her political career.

and when i say thay BB may do fine without him, by any means does not mean that she will do something good to country, ( as per me she lacks the capability and brains to do the same) she will just be fine with her political career and can make enough for balawal and other parasites to live on without doing anything serious.

** Zardari was out of loop on Abu Dhabi meeting **

Asif Zardari was out of the loop on the most crucial meeting that his spouse, Benazir Bhutto, held with President Gen Pervez Musharraf in Abu Dhabi on Friday. This was the first time during all the 20 years of marriage, when he was not at the centre-stage of an extremely important political development. Zardari is staying put in New York for medical treatment for the past several months. “After every two-three weeks, Zardari has to consult with his heart specialists,” Benazir’s spokesman Farhatullah Babar told The News. Benazir met him in New York some six weeks back and is planning to leave for the United States shortly, he said. Over the past two decades, Zardari has not only been a major negotiator on behalf of his wife in important political talks, but also had a big say in key decisions. Not only this, he has been attending all such high-profile meetings. He had been enjoying this pre-eminence whether Benazir was in government or in opposition. At times, prominent Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders had resented his interference and dominant role in the political affairs. They had been expressing aversion privately but hardly anyone of them ever picked up the courage to urge Benazir to restrict Zardari’s larger-than-life role. Zardari’s failing health that deteriorated during his over eight-year-long incarceration has been a principal reason behind his relatively inactive political life and lack of movement out of New York. Shortly after his release, he remained in Dubai with his family for some time but later went to New York for medical treatment where he has been since then. However, in the changed political environment, Benazir might have thought to keep Zardari away from the crucial meeting that she held with Musharraf and the developments in the run-up to this session. But it is believed that Benazir has been updating Zardari about different stages of her dialogue with the government. He used to be in full picture of the negotiations even when he was imprisoned in Pakistan and the talks were being mainly conducted through Makhdoom Amin Fahim. He was very much involved in the process when the secret parleys had been held immediately after the October 2002 general elections, as government interlocutors had been meeting him as well. It was this central position that he had, which always landed him in jail when his wife’s governments was dismissed in 1990 and 1996.

Re: where is zardari?

Keeping in the good tradition of Musharraf, the more corrupt you are the higher post you get, reference Shujaat (PM), Sheeda Tulli etc,. It would therefore be no surprise if he is keeping him under wraps to make him the next foreign or defence minister. After all we are talking about Musharraf's cabinet here. The more corrupt you are the higheryou go in this government.

Re: where is zardari?

and that is why Benazir will be the new PM.
you know keeping in line with the theory of the more corrupt you are the higher you will go.

PS: are you hinting that Zardari would be made some version of the chancellor of the exchequer? I mean last time he was the 'after all" damad of Pakistan. same nakhray this time?
