Nasdaq goes below 1600 (currently at 1581) while Dow dipped below 8000 for short time and is now around 8216, chances are higher that it will close around or below 8000. Lets see!
ayite ive been talkin to and listening to these big international investors, and everyone has agreed to one thing, that there are 60 percent chances that we r gona see a huge rally tommorow that will break records, and 40% its gona get so ugly that it would go to 7500. in either cases next week is a huge bullish market and from huge i mean record breaking.
As soon as the market opened today, Dow immediately dropped 800 points like bangggg!!!! wow.... its still down about 300 points (12:30 pm EDT). Anyone betting against the bears at this point should do so at their own peril.

In last "recession" (in 2001) Nasdaq dipped to 1139 (30 Sep 2002), now we are talking about "depression" why would Nasdaq not go to that level (or below)? DJI slipped to 7528 on that day. Nasdaq was probably worst hit in that phase probably because of "dot-com/telecom bubble bust" and in this time DJI would probably be worse hit as DJI has more finance institutions..... so chances of DJI going below 7500 are higher, what do you guys think?

There come bargain hunters. Dow is actually UPPPP 1% after 800 points decline today.

Actually, looking at the volume, selling seems to have slowed in the last 30 minutes. So it may not have been bargain hunter in the last 30 minutes. Looks to me like it was the big sellers baiting the small investor to stay in the market. I didnt see the kind of capitualition that would suggest a bottom to me. I expect to see a dead cat bounce on Moday. I would be selling into any rallies, at this point. Then, again I have been wrong many times
