the thing is I am overseas student so not eligible for the British scholarships and Pakistan’s common wealth membership is suspended .. so that makes it worse .. and I have to pay all of my expanses… which damn expensive.

one of my friend and class fellow was lucky to get common wealth scholarship after engg. and did his masters from UK… but now its really difficult to get such status… and i think somebody must be very lucky to get an odd kinda job with suitable salary in big centres of UK like London… right?..
my younger bro is also applying for his Masters but he is trying to get admission in a University of some smaller town or city

yeah after 1998 its a bit tricky to get such scholarships, not sure about the job conditions for students here, as I had job 1st and then I started my studies part time. from this year I am doing it full time. but I heard from ppl that after 911 it is getting hard for Pakistani students. but not in up north near Newcastle and Sunderland.
Landon is expansive then in any other city is uk, the cost of living and travel is as about two times then other cities!

ohkay.... dats fine... wat are your plans after your Ph.D.... are you going to apply for the immigration or planning to come back to Pakistan?

Newcastle Uni is better then SUnderlans, but then it depends what your brother is interested in. I mean his feild of studies. I friend of mine graduated from newcastle uni, he did his post graduation in control systems and its pretty good.
as far as my future is concern it all depends on completion of course, might start my own setup if come to pakistan or here may be with my friend.

yeah dats true.... my bro wishes to go for MBA in human resources or finance..... but his case is just in the initial stage. he has just his BSc in Computers in honours.
okie.....is there any scope of GIS .... i mean if being a Civil Engr.... i go there for masters in GIS.... is it worth of it?
here in Pakistan... GIS is getting some scope now and it looks to be a major field in future.
