Scientific evidence does suggest the existence of a genetic link to intelligence.
However, bear in mind that an intelligent person needs to have that intelligence nurtured in order for it to become apparent, hence making environment important.
On the other hand, a genetically unintelligent person will never be a shining pupil regardless of his/her environment.

Intelegence has nothing to do with the environment or heredity… otherwise we should have seen more people like Einstine and Newton, cos if it was Heredity, then why children of great people like Einstine, Newton and aristatus were not that intelegent!!! same with the environment… why environment didn’t affect other people in the same way!!

Recessive genes, my boy, recessive genes. A gene for a characteristic can be passed on to your children, without being active in them. That gene may become active 3-4 generations down the line.

of course it does, but we don't see that so often...... the gene is present in every human being but is active only in few, its not the case that the gene is present in some of the population... inactive or active...
