You make copies of the label (u’re current size) put it in a small leather pouch and stitch it on all sides.. put a black thread through it and ask him to wear this taveez. Inshallah he’ll begin buying the right size.

What's the biggie in getting your partners size wrong?! Noone ever stays the same size (or a small group do like forever). I get my other half's favourite sports players wrong...he doesn't kick up a stink and vice-versa.

I personally don't think it's a big deal, guys are simple creatures they see something and they act accordingly, there's no malice in their behavior. nadz, I would say you should get over it and be thankful he buys you clothes instead of beating you.

Personally, if I'm buying anything for the lady, I go with the smallest size, yes it's a pain for her to go and exchange it, but it flatters her that I think she's that tiny. <--- I am not a simple person, very chalaak.

I think men cannot have a good idea of women sizes , just like women doesnt have a good knowledge of men sizes. I always get confused while shopping for a man. I see all S M and L and then imgaine which one will fit. Same goes for Shirt collar size.

Best thing to do, read the size labels to him, educate him.

IF after this, he STILL persists, then buy him clothes, HALF his size and then he will understand ;-)

im beginning to think if ur husband does anything rigth apart from getting u pregnant the poor guy seems to have done everything wrong.

lucky he did get u pregnant otherwise there would be threadsa liek " cant get pregnant coz hubby eats to many chicken burgers "

so before pregnancy, i was a uk size 10/12, when i went to pakistan, i was a size 10, and lost more weight there, although i dont think i went down to an 8, still a nice 10…so anyway, nearly ALL the clothes that hubby decided to buy me were all a SIZE 14/16,we went to lahore and i saw this gorgeous outfit i wanted, he went over to the counter and asked for a LARGE Size…BLOODY ************, when i coudlve worn a SMALL. EVEN the guy behind the counter said `aap ki biwi ko small ya medium bi asakta hain, BUT DOES HUBBY LISETEN…he looks up and down at my frame, and looks bewildered.

anyway i remember this, because now im pg and getting fat, i can wear those clothes now…

That is so uncool. I would have the exact same reaction as you if I was in your shoes!!! I get annoyed when my relatives send me size medium and size large clothes from Pakistan when I have told them repeatedly to get me EXTRA small if they can. They know/have seen how big I am …US size 00 … can’t get much smaller than that …

My fiance has yet to buy me anything himself… we always go shopping together and he only gives input on whether he likes the design/style. I think he just doesn’t want to deal with the whole size issue at all .

But hey Nadz… silver lining… atleast those kapray are coming in handy for you now!! My pretty kapra sent from Pakistan are just chilling in a bag in my closet …there are sooooooooo many to even contemplate getting them fixed..

mizzrani, i think nadz is just venting her frustration... and she's right. It's been ages since she's opened up 10 threads in a day... and this one is just cute. Nothing wrong with it.. Besides, how many women have a fit if their husband gets them a size too large?
