yea down in the dumps and feeling like total crap like usual, anything to add to the thread in terms of how stupid the line in quotes is, it would really help.

I don't watch movies much, after "titantic" i'm officially off sappy lovey dovey movies and then you had to add in bikinis and speedos and i just had to picture mr. man in his tight speedos running around a tree singing, i feel like i haven't seen the last of my dinner......barf

but if i apply it to my situation which is forbidden for the other and generally wouldn’t be accepted seeing where the other is from, it might sober a person up of love sickness…it might hopefully staying strong

well let me ask you this, when you spoke with your best friend or fiancee for the first couple times and felt that connection with him or her(friend or fiancee) you never looked into his/her eyes? does no one ever try to feel anything from another person’s eyes when they’re speaking to you. I don’t feel anything from most people’s eyes, i have no clue what they’re REALLY feeling even if i try my hardest, they’re a total puzzle but i feel it when i speak with one particular person. It’s really strange:grumpy:

Are you saying fiancee / wifey / SO are best friends or are we supposed to feel that "connection" with just best friends, since if it the later, then it is wrong on so many levels.
By the way, what you are describing can be a definition of lust. So Nisha, have you ever lusted your best friend?

is not lust b/c that would translate into only sex sex and more sex thoughts.
lust can happen even if you haven't felt anything from talking to him/her or feeling anything from looking into their eyes. well this feeling makes you feel care for the person even if you can't sleep with them b/c of your beliefs or their beliefs or both so it is not lust. the "just friends" status will do as long the person is there in your life.
think about that for a while :P
although there's a major attraction too that's felt between us....God help me :(
