My first meeting was surrounded by Khalaz, Phophos and female reletives of girl , As she sat in b/w her one Khala and other side Her Nani Amma..

One of My baji cousin ( who had this ristaa arranged ) called me after tea , and when i enter this Room where all of them were sitting.

And My Baji started Introducing every one - Yaa hain Larki ki Nani , ya larki ki Bari Khala , ya larki ki choti Khala , ya larki , Ya lakri ki choti Phuphoo , ya larki ki mummanii and i was like Salam Salam Salam .... how are you theek

Jaoo Nani sa payar lo , and she was sitting right next to her ... sharmaing and enjoying too i guess .... and then i just sat there on a chair next to my baji and thats about it

only said Salam :( in that meeting ....

Somegroovychick-No no this was 2 days before the nikkah lol. After the nikkah , he came into the wedding hall with his brother and some cousins, sat next to me and said aslaam alaikum but i didnt hear and blanked him lol which apparently the video guy found amusing!

we met at work, so he probably said something along the lines of, "welcome to the company!" :p

lol.. i think the same about my husband that he is very shareef and all, hmmm.. so they arent!?!?! will have to wait and see until we start living together... :P

I met him with my parents, the first thing we said was obviously asslamaualkum, then he asked me where i worked, what i worked with, what ive studied etc.. and i just replied short and to the point. I still cant believe, neither does he, that we got married after just that meeting (nikkah followed by engagement). I didnt ask him anything as my parents were around, but had heard a lot about him from my mother who had been talking to him before meeting him. He is alhamdulilah so much sweeter and nicer than the guys i had talked to for rishta purposes, i'm glad i didnt talked to him beforehand :)
