Cresent! I respect your ideologies…but you can’t bring up challenging statement like above…as it involves generalization on a veryyy big scale

I wouldn’t say my circumstances are ‘desperate’ BUT I have to go out as my better half spends more than half of an year on business trips…so I do go out to pick n drop my kids to school n to fulfill other responsibilities…but Alhamdulillah I wear a veil (you can never imagine what I or the likes of me face only coz we cover our faces while living in a really racist society)

99% of times I really try o stay calm when someone passes degrading comments or even spits after looking at me…but I just find it really hard when muslim males(or sometimes females too) throw me out of the window in their sweeping statements

I still can’t forget an incident which makes me cry everytime I recall it(hope you don’t mind me sharing it here)
We went to pak 2-3 yrs back. on islamabad international, there was a long queue of passengers going through ‘welcoming procedure’ the kady in front of me was wearing a traditional black burqa…the FIA staff lady asked her to show face so she can take a pic n enter it in records…(mind you there were 3 male officers standing behind the lady at counter) so passenger lady requested her to ask officers to go away as she can’t take her veil off in front of men…
guess what…FIA lady got angry n asked her to take it off at once followed by some more angry comments…that lady obeyed…n when she left The counter lady talked about that lady to her colleague n said ’ london say ho ker aa gayee hay aur humaray saamnay naik bantee hay’

YEs I agree with you. ANd I didn’t understand which statement of mine offended you. My Apologies.

Pakistan is a no no for Islam now. When I went, there used to be tilawat playing on loud speakers in the masjid. However they had to shut it off because there were musical functions happening in the surrounding areas and it was ‘disturbing’ them as the local authorities put it.

ALlah have mercy on us all.
