Religion is necessary in life because it helps create guidelines, and the specific reasons behind these guidelines. Without religion there would be no rules and complete chaos in the world. Allah swt know what will happen and what has comed to pass. Our minds are limited, meaning we can grasp only so much as Allah wills. Allah's mind is limitless! He know why he created religion in the dunya. We can't question him on that. Questioning Allah is kufr, and shows ignorance. Astagfirullah!
Other monotheistic religions may not ask its followers to grow nails but they don't prohibit it either!
We are asked to stay away from it (pork) and Allah swt knows best. I will reiterate again, we do not know why Allah has prohibited certain things but a true believer knows that it must be followed because it is the order of his lord and it is the ultimate best.
please which other monotheist religion asks you to grow nails. Again the common sense says stay clean.
