From my personal observation (which can be totally wrong), there are many ways by which the self respect of a person is hurt. For example, one aspect is:

Ghairat’mand Wife: She becomes uncomfortable when her husband’s eyes make intentional efforts in scanning the assets of women they come across.

Ghairat’mand Husband: He becomes uncomfortable when his wife wears scan-able dress that makes it easy for others to scan the details of her assets.

If a wife has self respect and moral values, s/he may expect her self-respect to be respected only if she herself respects the self respect of her husband and vice versa.

Allah (Swt) is the most Ghairat’mand of all, because he has blessed the man with the eyes (that were misused) and the woman with the body (that was exhibition-ed)

May Allah (swt) bless everyone with a partner in accordance to their degree of their self respect and their respect for other’s self respect.

SO Ghairat depends only on the dress that you wear?
