He just needs her to get back on Pakistani soil, perhaps, so he can have authority to throw her in front of CJ, who is already his best friend. CJ ko tho nachaaliya hai - already scared him crapless that his seat can easily be taken away from him, so CJ will do as he wants.
I have Mush nailed. I should switch careers and do a Ph.D. in poli sci and get a real job.
That is a very poor analysis if you ask me... Musharraf has ALOT to worry about rather than focusing on how to try to get Benazir to come to Pakistan and face some sweet chin music. Clearly, she leads the strongest and most popular party in terms of the votebank and Musharraf is so unpopular amongst the people (like Ehsan bhai said) that he needs her or he will continue to face agitations, protests by the people of Pakistan and become another Ayub Khan...
See this is where his whole take on the media at the moment is wrong. The best thing he can do is keep the media on his side. One wrong move from her, and he can have it blown up in the media and take her out in a heart beat.
That's where he's going wrong. He needs to give the media their autonomy.
I dont think BB is another Chaudhry Shujaat or Altaf Hussain that Musharraf can put a leash on, and throw a bone too.. Channey chabba dey gi musharraf ko, if he gets her to become the PM.
Just another thought came to me today. She's a woman. With the heat Musharraf's government is going through - that they're not being questioned on how "sincere" they are in the War on Terror, it only makes sense to bring in a female into power-sharing. At least an apparent power-sharing. A nation led by a female going down to the Taliban dogs? Nevah!

...it was her policy that saw the rise of the Talibs....what can I say...b*tch begot dogs...
In any case, she's much more of a threat to Pakistan than the Talibs could ever be...
If Mushy throws her in the slammer, then I say he earned his office on principle alone...if he's going to be a dictator, I can only hope he'll be a consistent one.
