Impulse:

its not all about running down wards looking busy....like they do on them Medical dramas etc. think about it properly:) I at one time was sure i want to be a doctor, then i talked to a girl i know in 3rd year Medical degree. she told me realistically how it is and it put me off. basically she said "not a week goes by when I dont feel like giving up and quitting".....this girl was VERY clever in any way u can think off.....but if she felt like that, Im sure i wouldve too. I didnt want to do something that was stressful studying as well as the job being stressful. but then again thats me.......everyone's different :)

ps. i opted for Pharmacy, which was the closest i could find to Medicine and im happy with my choice :)

yeah but my dads a doctor- itz in my blood!

dont you feel at times he doesnt spend enough time with the family?

I had a friend whos dad was a doctor, and she always complained about the lack of time her dad spent with the family -she even hated him for this reason.

nope! i never felt thtat way:)

my dad is super kool and funny!sure, some times hes not there to make me laugh and everything- but that doesnt bother me, i no he has work. :) i have been to his hospital and clinic- it looks pretty busy- but he does a good job dealing with it:)
