Sadi brother I must warn you..VW's and Audi's have one of the worst relibility ratings..In fact Audi A6 was ranked dead last in reliability ratings by JD Power Associates in their latest survey. So if you r planning on buying an Audi/VW think again cuz you might end up sitting in the garage more than in your car.

My brother drives a Mercedes C 32 AMG, and I drive a BMW M3. I think both cars are the best on road! Well, I dont have any dream car, coz I own my fav car - BMW M3 :)

Realistically :
VW-Passat 130 PK, Deisel TDi -- or -- 1.8T 150PK Petrol. Highline or Comfortline. (I have 1.8T Comfortline 1999 model)
Audi 1.8 T Quattro. or TDi 130 PK.
Just dreaming:
Audi RS4 or RS6
Merc E 55
Passat W8 -- or -- V6 Tdi, 4 Motion.
BMW 530tds -- or -- BMW M5 (not M3)
Volvu V70R (340 PK)
I had a BMW 318se (in UK) a company car for about 10 months ... no thank u. BMW is a car looks good but in drive ... no way can catch up with Audi or Passat. I have driven all German brands, BMW, Merc, Audi & VW.
Number 1 Merc, 2 is Audi, 3 is Passat & 4 is BMW. BTW no other brands beat German brands in Engine stability.
I drive 1760 KM non-stop & usually do the distance in 14/16 hours usually doing 200/220 Kph in Germany. I did it once in Ford Mondeo & a year old car got tired after the journey. Refused to start next day, had to call AA.
I have driven M3 but still I dont buy it M3 is not my taste I would rather look for M5 if I have to buy BMW. Otherwise Merc would be the first choice.
My dream car is the Buggati W16 Veyron - tagged along with no less than 4 turbos with separate intercoolers to get 1001 ponies on tap - 0-100 Km/h in 3.4 seconds. OR The Hennesey Tuned Dodge Viper Venom 800. Then the laws of driving are redefined.
For street sake I would go for a Mazda RX-7 limited edition mated to a close ratio 6 speed tranny - and souped with a Garret Air research turbo. More known as a Baby Viper
And for surprises - there is no machine matching the Saab 93 Viggen. - It produces a jet fighter like howl and catapult like acceleration which would baffle your senses. - This machine is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Try one to believe.
As for speed and acceleration nothing - absolutely nothing matches a Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa.
And my heart throbbed with an exquisite bliss
