Success is more of a mood-meter than anything else. Its not eternal. You feel it (or not feel it) on day-to-day basis.

You have to have motivation to do good, Altruism is at the top of the pyramid, at the top many are motivated to do good

For me, success is exceeding the average standards or expectations in everything I do.

Success is when you feel at peace with where YOU are in life...not where others think you should be. Once you get to that point, you can consider yourself successful.

True^ do we make a deliberate effort to describe to ourselves and maybe even write it down as to what this peaceful place in life looks like, what do we want out of life and plan how we will get it. My life coach even made goals about improved relationships with children, I set long term and short term goals about relationship with kids and spouse, happy to say things went better than hoped for.
