Ok for all you MSN (can’t live without it) here is one thing you guys can give it a shot…
click Start > All programs > and choose Windows Messenger.
Do not click on the MSN Messenger 7.0 (beta) or 6 version.
it should work! if it doesnt tough luck.
and as for MSN ppl plz change your passwords once you log in other wise you may find some of your e-mails are lost so do that instantly.
According to Micorsoft; they are upgrading and renewing their MSN serivce
In short and bottom line: thanks to hackers they got Hacked again 
goodluck and try again and all you crazy msn will breath and chat
