If someone has a crush on my spouse, I would care and that would probably be a lot worse to me than hating them. I dont care if someone hates my spouse because they’re not married to him.
Bint’s situation would unsettle me a little, definitely. I would drop a few hints to let them know their comments arent welcome but if the behavior persisted…we would have a talk.
