That was a wonderful apology by Niksik. Too often, apologies do more harm than good, being more of a non-apology than an apology.

As far as my self and on a personal scale is concerned, I'd have a reason or two to feel disappointed. However, If speaking from a professional perspective I believe I'd have more reasons to understand the apology given by the respected administrator of the given channel. All said and done, all I could hope for is a non-consequential conclusion in the end, be it this side or the other side. That's just me though and dare I mention, something I could well be wrong in.

So how exactly is decided who deserves respect and who doesnt?
Pakiqueen (single girl) likes the husband of her friend, which is wrong and everybody told her already, but she still likes him. So it is allowed to openly disrespect her. Dont even need to be meethi chhurri.
And then we have Inspiron (also single girl) who likes a non muslim doctor, and she openly talks about her sexual tensions. She wants to attack him like a lioness and what not. All the intimate fantasies nicely covered up in poetic words. And she gets the ‘awwws’ and the ‘ooow’ and the ‘oh you are so cute’…She gets respect and she is allowed to disrespect.
Dare to say anything against this and you will be called a mullah.

@ Exodus -you did not get the "our side" reference. You will at some point - and at that moment, the tube light wil go on/off and hopefully you will crack up.
I hope aaaaaaaaaal is well with everyone including OP. Meant what I said abt the apology - it was classy and had empathy.

People, I think we made a mistake and I apologized.
There is nothing wrong in apologizing. And there's no need to argue over it either. I will close this thread once the OP acknowleges. The rest of you, if you have issues, please start threads in Life and Relationships on who deserves an apology or whatever. Thanks.
