I think based on the size of the opening of the container and the way we take a gulp from them, different combo of liquid to air ratio hits different part of our tongue. Just like salt tastes different if you taste it with the tip of your tongue vs back of your tongue, coke tastes different based on which part of tongue it hits.

There, I solved the greatest mystery of culinary pleasures.
