Just because you dont see something wrong with "marrying" the person you love does not mean the concept of marriage itself promotes equality of genders. You cant be a feminist and then believe in something that was developed by religions.
Actually I can because it doesn't matter to me if it was created by a religion or a cult or anything. It binds my love and I together.
My man has the same power over me as I have over him it doesn't mean that we are trying to take my rights away. If I want a divorce I can get one, if I want to go out I can.
In other threads you keep saying the tradition of getting married is old but really what your supposing sleeping around is modern? Well its not it been here forever like being married.
