Dude…in rishta there are also very few people…both the sets of parents…and the boy girl…thats it…

and it is as difficult to get a job with right credentials as it is for rishta…believe me on that one… you think you fit every criteria…but the employers don’t hire you for the chawalest reason… or there is someone with better credentials …

2. Don’t argue with me. The OP asked for different opinions. I gave mine. You have yours. We don’t have to agree on this.
3. True, at minimum, the only people involved in rishta process are immediate families and the couple. But that’s just the minimum #. Some people have big families, and the bhabhi/taayi/chachi/etc. can cause unnecessary drama/problems. Also, in case of engagements that do not lead to marriages, there are always those cases where it was a third party who ruined the couple’s chances. So yes, there is potential for a lot more people to be involved in the rishta process as compared to jobs.
