I have made one dress wid anchor kaam in gold over really dull striped shirt n dupatta this kaam is really in style in pakistan wid ribbon work and the second one is anarkali sorta dress wid straight pants..........i hope it turns out good as i gave it to the tailor todayyy
OMG, that sounds beautiful!! I have one ribbon work jora too, haven't worn it yet. Can you show me some pics of the anchor ka kaam? I ahve herad so much about it, but not sure how it looks. BTW will your tailor sew the clothes so quickly close to eid? wow!!

I think I’ll wear a nice shalwar kamiz to namaz in the morning. And then we’re gathering at my mother’s place, which is where I’ll wear my new sari.

I haven't gotten new clothes. There's no point in me getting anything new when I'm going to have to have to buy an entire new wardrobe anyway next year.
Yeah, the year or so before my wedding was such a dry spell, as everything was being made for my jahez. I remember really being frustrated finding outfits for Eids and parties and weddings.

i brought a green emerald, white and black and orangy bluey suit from green st yesterday, and am gonna go last minute to my tailor to and get it stitched today, i have 5 suits all together lol but no way is she gonna agree to make all of them for me :(
I'm wearing a dove-gray chiffon outfit with "antique" metal work on the gala.. (fingers-crossed my tailor doesn't make a mess out of it)

^ Which eggplant one? The one on the right is more of a pinky magenta color. I have an eggplant shalwar kamiz. This orange sari is new (the other two are from my bari) -- MIL brought it from India and I haven't had a chance to wear it. Figured Eid would be a nice opportunity.

im wearing a turquoise suit with kaam on the sleeves and all over the kameez , its my 1st choti eid after my wedding , mum wnts me to dress up as a bride bt im like noo.
we will be staying at my parents house so we cn all wke up together n have yummy nashta of halwa puri and chanay and then in the evening we r invited to my lovely relatives house

Yes the one on the right, looks very very beautiful but Im thinking spring and you are thinking autumn.

Mizz you should really celebrate your first Choti eid since Choti eid is the only eid where you get dressed and get eidi, Bari eid is boring and full of gosht 
ok i think everyone is just prepared for the big day..i.e. eid...i also have my clothes stitched...both r indian stuff ...really nice..but had the terrible time ever while gettign them stitched from my tailor in liberty,lahore..had the real hard time ever making him understand what i really want...
eastern11 i was trying to reply to ur post but somehow i can't ..i dont know whats the problem with my account...it asks me to login everytime and thats what i do but then the same page comes again and again...anyway u seem to me quite patient person...i don't know but its with me also that i make my own designs whether its a simple lawn suit and i first draw it on paper and make the tailor udnerstand...and he is like" ap kaha kaha say yeh design lay ati hain" ...i think its real hard to get along with tailors...because i always have some problems with them and its been so many years i have not found a good tailor:-/ ...if designs go ok then there is alwyas a problem with the fitting...i wish i could ever find a good tailor in lahore!
can someone plz tell me any good tailor in dubai or sharjah? any good reasonable beauty salon? i am a newcomer here so just need some information in this regard?

I'm so excited about eid!My clothes just arrived this morning and i can't wait to wear them - its a ferozi blue kameez eith silver crystal work around the neck and sleeves with a green shalwar which has a little embroidery around the bottom. I don't really get many opportunities to wear shalwar kameez - hence i get reaalllyyy excited on eid when i get to buy and wear a new suit :) ......Any excuse to go shopping!LOL!!!
my inlaws got me a white and copper outfit it’s white and gold jamavar then has coppper work all down the middle and on the necjline ill wear it with my valima set

Uetian my tailor is in sharjah.. he used to work at Chen One in Lahore. He's pretty good.. whereabout are u looking for a parlour?
