Don't go for medicine unless You r ready to give exams for the rest of ur life....... because anywhere u go u have to give examz n you have to put in long hours and its stressful...so if u want a cushy family life don't think abt medicine

if your wanna do it for the money...go for a doctor....if u like 2 be stuck in a cubical or office all day long then go for the CSS ....... Id suggest u become a MD and specialize in something :)

I would think that there would be much more satisfaction in becoming a doctor of one kind or another.

CSS does have it's benefits though. Apparently if you are in the right field, you can easily be hired abroad once you score well in the CSS exams.

CSS is taken after graduation and at times ppl even end up taking CSS exams after MBBS when they want to be employed as a medical officer in the Federal Public Services.
Both professions have their charms. But i'd agree with what's said above about CSS pay scales etc.
BUt still CSS seems to have its charms, i've heard of qualified chartered accountants take CSS exams, qualify and join the Police, recently a lecturer in economics did the same, as did a qualified mechanical engineer.

exactly yahi mein keh rhi hu k charm of CSS cant be denied
though th best to satisfy urself is medical field yet charm ziada CSS ka hey ,and if i talk abt gals to i wouldnt have raised this question atall cause i myself say k for gals medical is more than enuff but considering my bros decision was a bit concerned whether he should continue medial or should take css exam

If your brother is seriously interested and charmed by CSS, i'd say he should go for it! every now and then one does come across govt officers who portray exceptionally bright personalities and abilities, and the govt is always short of such officers, so we should have more good ones.
