I had the Emirates flight last year, and we stopped in Dubai for 22 hrs also. First we slept...then we went sight-seeing (it was our first time there)...and did a little shopping too...and yes, we got a nice room but only on the way back...it's quite nice there, ur time shud go by faster than u think...have a safe and fun trip! :)
