there is a hadith : aur baap (waalid) ki raza main Allah ki raza hey in other words : jis say baap (waalid) raazi uss say Rub raazi
So if you die without their forgiveness surely you will burn in hell :)
Very true, a long as the father is not unhappy with the person for following a Sunnah or teachings of the Prophet (saw)
