Re: What shows are you currently watching or recently saw
Nice! I really liked White Christmas, Playtest, Hang the DJ, and USS Callister as well because these episodes left me feeling a bit disturbed at the end, the plot was just so unexpected in all of them. My favorite episode though was most definitely Black Museum.
I'm binging on black mirror too. I started with Season 3 and now on Season 4.
Black Museum was a little too much for me but the story line was pretty unique. Crazy to reflect on it and see how absurd society/technology/life is progressing to be.
I need some new shows to watch but I don't have Netflix :(
S.W.A.T.
Blindspot
Jamestown
A discovery of witches
Timeless
Grey's Anatomy
9-1-1
Krypton
The Handmaid's Tale
The Blacklist
The Big Bang Theory
The white queen/The white princess
Station 19
Baby Daddy
Timeless movie to wrap up the series is going to be out tomorrow, the 20th.
I am behind on S.W.A.T. and Blindspot. Stopped watching TWD after putting it off after the tenth episode some years back. Andrew Lincoln is supposed to leave soon so I have even less incentive to watch it now.
The new Dick Wolf series FBI is good and I am just watching Lethal Weapon for the heck of it. Call it what it be but Clayne Crawford really had the psycho covered in his interpretation of Riggs. I just wish that they had fixed all the behind-the-scenes mess though the new partner's ex-wife is good eye candy.
Kids and I loved Voltron. Enjoyed Stranger Things and Ozark. As far as TV shows, we enjoy Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon. Used to like Law and Order until realized it can be pretty depressing to watch everyday.
We just recently started watching Younger on Stan - a light-hearted, comedy of errors, seems like is in its 6th season now, so a long way to catch up. The central character is a 40 years old recently divorced mom of college bound teen, who shuffles her life doubling as a 20 something in order to get back in job market and her on-again, off-again May December relationship along with few additional conflicting love interests that get flung her way. The low intensity plot twists have been keeping the series quite refreshing to watch so far without getting bogged down with too much emotional stress.
Chernobyl - Brilliant - one of the best series ever about the nuclear accident
Deep State - although its a similar theme - but the story writing is bold and openly talks about american military functioning
Stranger Things 3 - it was good - the music wasn't as cool as the previous seasons
