I got a compliment from my friend who said that i had the best collection of Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Thats when i was 13. I haven't gotten a compliment since.

**after my debacle in med school, i hit my lowest point in life. i had my worst reprimand. the best ever compliment i received was the day when my bro and family were at my graduation ceremony in St. John’s Newfoundland, Canada. the moment i returned from the podium with my PhD degree in hand, my bro and bhabhi hugged me and said…“son! we’re PROUD of u!!!” [they consider me as their own son] and the tears rolled down my cheek. i managed to regain the title of DR afterall, 3 years late though.

there is always a good reason why Allah doesn’t allow things to happen. Allah wanted to save hundreds of lives that could have been lost at my hands if i became a physician…now, i’ve the license to kill…PLANTS that is!..and, the bestest aspect is that plants can’t even SUE me **

I like your positive response of accepting the fact that there are reasons that Allah Mian doesnt let certain things happen even though they may feel like the worst thing at that time. I came to realize that not too long ago too.Allah talleh works in mysterious ways.

i had a lady tutor who used to come to teach math to my girls....they were in O-level. at the time. she would ask my daughters if i am their real mother.(bcz she thought i was not OLD enough to be a mother of kids 13/14 years old. she wud ask them if they have baby pics of them. and that they are sure that they are not adopted kids. i found that very flatering. :)

yes we're cousins.

I was free after my Ist year's exams. He was over in Pak with his family for his bro's wedding and me and other cousins were invited to his house to help out with houework and wedding so the whole house was full of guests and people and when he said this I was literally in tatters wearing no make up and mopping the floor.

We got married after 2 n half years of this meeting.

When I wasn't a smoker women would ask me: Are you wearing lipstick? Each and every time I would wipe my lips to prove that I don't wear lipstick and my lips are naturally that red. Well now lips are getting back to the same color since I quit smoking. They said they'd kill to have my lip color.

Once a hispanic woman cursed me out because I wouldn't/couldn't speak to her in spanish. She said I am denying my hispanic heritage :p Kept telling her I am Pakistani but she wouldn't believe it. Just because I look and can say hola como esta senora and some curse words in almost perfect spanish accent doesn't mean I am hispnic :)

Once dad saw me at night entering our home and almost called the cops because he thought I was a thief :p If I could be inmovies I'd play the villain's role :)

Once someone told me I am soft spoken. I thought that was the best compliment ever. (To answer your question)

My mom (no one else) admires my little beard because it has red-brown hair. May be I'll grow it back again.
