You need to add some more color to your life. Nothing interest you ? Religion , poetry, fiction , politics, friends ?
sure i have a vested interest in all of the above, and a lot more keep me busy...but i don't think, at the moment, any of these "rock" my boat :)

Totally relate, its hard to feel like stuff is 'rocking' when you miss family or a loved one. I don't encourage emotional eating but chocolate sure helps :)

Actually visiting the cemetry after nightfall to see dad, with the full moon and the stars to gaze at … out of the suburbs of the city. No kidding here! Its the highlight of my day these days 
on more sane and regular occassions:
Travelling, Camping, nature walks, canoeing, reading…hmm…water/snow ball/pillow fighting
