Good point .. so now it is a different topic but let me ask you then ..
If you need a favor from someone, or even if the person is obligated to do certain work for you and its not a favor .... you being poilte to him would be considered Khushamad ?
being polite is an ettiquette , but praising some-one or favoring his opinions for one's personal interest is khushamud :)
