Punishment by state & through courts will totally depend on which country you are residing in & what laws they have got, if they have shariah law then they will act accordingly if not then otherwise. And I think its obligatory for a muslim, once in that particular country, to to abide by their rules, shariah or otherwise, even if they are against Islam & if they are not liking it then they can migrate, religiously speaking, correct me if I am wrong but thats a different topic altogether.
Khair all I am asking is what Islam says & what shariah law says about these unseen crimes.
