i don’t think Iqbal meant that. i think the way Islam is practiced in India/Pakistan is more ritualistic than spiritual…that’s what 'allaamah probably meant. we did not get the spirit of Islam…from establishing Islamic tarz-e-Hukoomat [not malookiyat] to other aspects of Islam.
