What is the difference between 'deen' and 'Mazhab'?

deen is a complete divine way of life ordained by God. mazhab is a set of rules about moral “do’s and don’ts” in one’s life given by God.

this is my simplistic definition of those terminologies.

Islam is a DEEN.

Aren’t do’s and do not’s part of way of life?

If Islam is deen then what are the examples of Mazhab and when people refer Islam as mazhab, do they limit the scope?
