Love to me would mean respecting, loving someone without trying to change them, supporting, caring and being there for on another. Appreciating them for who they are. All of these should be mutual; no double standards, no undermining one another.

More so than anything, it is a strong bond of a multitude of feelings, which connects people together. Unless it is unrequited love and then it might connect you to someone but it is not reciprocated.

Unconditional love I suppose, which is rare and some argue that this type of love is predominantly reserved for parent-child relationships. I think it does exist it beyond this relationship and have witnessed it in couples too.

Love can extend beyond parent-child relationships, married couples to friends, an appreciation for someone to someone who moves you with the beauty of their work.

Love in its purest form is not based on materialistic commodities, it is a multitude of feelings which one has for another.

the soft corner in his heart which belongs only to me. theres no doubt b/w his and my thoughts , his protective soul that would heel me in the hour of distress. his vast imagination to cover all my follies. his subtle sight to let me forget all this world. his numerous ideas to convince me for lil things, his kindness towards me for being me.

Dear adeeba, its a reality and exist.Thousands of poets,writers covered millions of pages over that.But this word has multitude of shades and diversities in differnet aspect.Humans love thier family,thier parents,brothers,sisters,friends,country,place,city,office workers etc etc. Its spontaneous,auto phenomenon.Certainly it not includes present day mobile sms mohabbat dating,restaurants and other such cheap things which is a black mark on this word.But it does exist with all its purity,sincerity and affection.Its more a feeling of caring and being cared.Someones care for you and your worries,,these feelings and expressions cannot be described in words but can only be felt and are simply priceless.Certanily long lasting and beautiful thing is when you put it in legal and religious boundary of wed-lock. :)
