I would start with the kalima.
" There is no lord worthy of worship except Allah, and Mohammad (saw) is a messenger of Allah"
That isn't a common belief. For Instance refer to the Ahle tashi's Kalima In which the text reads (something along the lines of): Ali Waliullah Wasi Rasoullulah Wa Khaleefa...
