The girl in question…has she EVER has any pictures of herself taken? With her siblings or parents during Eid or other family events? If she has NEVER allowed anyone to take pictures of her, then the family/groom needs to respect that because she has stayed true to this value since before she ever got engaged.
However, a simple solution is to NOT take any pictures while the guests are there. Once the guests have left (OR you can do this before any guests arrive), she can allow a female photographer to take pics of her with her husband and other immediate (parents/siblings/in-laws) a few pics that will be kept by her/her husband and viewed by ONLY the immediate family members. She can choose not to actually give the few pics to ANYONE.
While most of us obviously don’t think so, some ppl do believe taking photos is haram completely, whether or not they’re shown to others.. Each to their own..
